A short time ago, I discovered the following story on academictips.org which tells us a marvelous account of an occurrence that happened between three people and demonstrates the magic of giving to others and going out of our way for them. It expresses to us the importance and beauty of thinking of others and helping them. I hope this story touches your heart as it did mine.

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.

  1. A great share Barbara.. 🙂 We need more people in the world who help each other out of the goodness of their hearts.. Rather than from a view point of what is in it for them.. We have become so distrusting of others motives too, that when some one offers from their hearts we stop in wonder to ask ourselves why… We have lost so much along our journey within the material greed… I can so see why the material has to be held less tight…
