I’m sorry this post is not longer, or more eloquent. I’m waiting for my brain — and the rest of Cleveland, Ohio — to thaw:

Of course, I can’t just leave you with just that, so here is something I did today that I wanted to share with all of you:

such as plant off the coast
wow are those frozen icicles?
They are bushes with ice coated branches. Beautiful but frigid cold. Hugs, Barbara
Never seen them like this before, quite the sight 🙂

Nice art work!
{Hugs}

Eric, you said it. It makes me feel old too! Here’s to spring. Hugs, Barbara
Zen drawing is new to me, too, Barbara. Hope you are going to post about it. Or did I miss something? ~ Linne
No I just began playing with it and I loved it. The amazing thing is that I used to have a zen garden in my study. Not where I live now. I used to ” play with it” all the time. It was so centering. It never occurred to me to use it in my art. I hope you liked it. Hugs, Barbara
I am shivering just looking at that photo! stay warm! 🙂
Heated mattress pad. It will even preheat the bed. Many little tricks, warm drinks, and knowing that spring always come. Though this time of year I always think of people a few centuries ago and wonder how they did it. Hugs, Barbara
centuries ago, I’d imagine furs to not only be a fashion statement, but a winter necessity! 🙂
Yes, I imagine they were. I have a faux fur coat that I love and it is so warm. And leather is warm. The animals had it right. I sure wouldn’t kill one for the leather or fur. I read an article the other day about tigers being kill for their skins. That is awful. The human family never learns. Hugs, Barbara
unfortunately that is so true. animals are killed for far less 😦
Zen drawing looks like a great alternative to even thinking about braving that cold weather. Stay warm, keep drawing!
I will. I am not supposed to go out unless it is 20 or warmer. So I need to keep my mind very busy. Hugs, Barbara
