The bitter tear that flows into the sea Dissolves into her liquid unity And in the sunlight rises up anew To fall again as rain-sweet alchemy. The seed of belief unfurls in faith, branches out in experience, blossoms in realization, and bears fruit in service. Every tree is a cosmic pole grounding Heaven in the soil of Earth and inspiring in Earth the Soul of Heaven. The universe is the image of the Infinite and Eternal in the mirror of time and space. Intelligence incarnates in speech and speech resurrects in silence. The goal of the journeyer is the Beloved. The goal of the Beloved is the journey.

I love this Clapton song and I love its message. I can change the world. I can make it shimmer and shine in the Universe. You and I can radiate love, acceptance and hope to a world full of hatred and violence. Eric Clapton sang this as a love song. We can use it as a love song to the billions of people on Mother Earth. People who need to experience compassion, love, understanding and acceptance. People who need clean water, enough food to fill their bellies and their children. We can change the world for those who are intelligent and not educated, for those who are creative and are too weak and hungry to sing or write or anything else. We need to show these children of god that they are equal to us and that they are loved by the One just as we are. So let’s do it in 2014, let’s show people that the world can be changed by us.
