welcome!
Thanks again for the reblog. It is a powerful story!
It really is and I feel it is so important for all people to read. Hugs, Barbara
Wow…I can’t imagine…I was in Saudi and the ladies there loved the priviledge of going to university. Sad that the women in Afghanistan are risking their lives to read books in a public setting to better themselves. That’s depressing but I do suspect they will win the fight.
It is depressing but their courage and determination is inspiring for all women everywhere. You did a wonderful thing sharing this story. Hugs, Barbara
I have spent a lot of time in Afghanistan. It is truly a sad country. With America withdrawing their troops I cringe to think what will happen to the children. The Taliban will be back stronger than ever and women and children will have to go back to the terrible restrictions and suppression of earlier. I believe Afghanistan is the saddest country in the world. I think I should blog about my experiences there.
