There were no early lambs to be seen in the fields. Quite rightly so because it was bloody freezing out there! However as usual waiting to greet me at the hospital  were my two favourite little black lambs, silent and still. Situated on a path that runs along beside a beach hedge where the disabled bays are they stand waiting, a lovely surprise to stumble upon. They are tucked away at the end of this path behind the bike sheds and they didn’t seem to mind the cold at all.

On the way home we stopped at the field with the old sheep pens and watched the sheep come down from the hills for feeding time. I bet they were glad of those thick wooly coats!2lambs1
