My father was born in London. So his favorite vacation was going to Ontario. Fish and Chips were what we all wanted. The first time I went to Madame Tuessard’s Wax Museum, in the basement were all the scary stuff. I was terrified. Returning as an adult confused me because I didn’t see scary stuff. Life is a matter of perspective. I love Niagara Falls and stopping there was on the agenda for my late husband’s and my honeymoon. He make me go on the Maid of the Mist. I never get publically wet except at the ocean. He was thrilled that I got publically wet. I was not thrilled but I enjoyed his delight in the experience. This picture was taken when I was in Buffalo for a retreat.

Hehehe – now you brought back the memories of my first encounter with Niagara falls – 1973! Still have pictures taken in the wax museum – was fascinated and scared at the same time. Amazing place
Thanks for sharing the memories of the mist & more 🙂
