Our kids are the future of America. I am sure that Texas may think they are doing good, but they aren’t. I have family in TX. All American kids should be learning the same things. It shouldn’t differ from region to region.

Yes, the largest buyer of text books in the USA, Texas, and their cabal of lunatics on the Texas Board of “Education.”

Per the NY Times: One is a nutritionist who believes “creation science” based on biblical principles should be taught in the classroom. Another is a chemical engineer who is listed as a “Darwin Skeptic” on the Web site of the Creation Science Hall of Fame. A third is a trained biologist who also happens to be a fellow of the Discovery Institute, the Seattle-based center of the intelligent-design movement and a vice president at an evangelical ministry in Plano, Tex.

Meanwhile… 80% of school books in the USA conform to Texas standards.

My friends and I walk on Sunday morning on this course. It is a figure eight that is a half a mile long. Then we go to breakfast.  You can see Lake Erie as the deeeper blue behind the green grass. I had to use my camera phone so it isn't the best but it is so peaceful walking and looking out onto the lake and boats, kayaks, And watching the waves. Photograph taken and copyrighted 2013

Juan Williams Accuses Republicans Of ‘Empty Rhetoric’ On Obamacare (VIDEO)


Republicans just keep trying to kick our President. They won’t be authentic people. Could this be racism.

Fox News analyst Juan Williams hit out at Republicans on Sunday over their opposition to Obamacare.

Williams appeared on a “Fox News Sunday” panel. He responded to Chris Wallace’s charge that some Americans are losing their health insurance plans under Obamacare.

“I get the sense that people on the Republican side are enjoying this moment, but this is empty rhetoric,” Williams said. He added that some plans are being cancelled because they do not meet Obamacare standards, but that those affected have received offers “for better packages at lower costs with more benefits.”

“This is not the apocalypse,” Williams added.

Brit Hume disagreed, saying, “The president promised explicitly — we heard it on this program—if you like the coverage you have now you can keep it, period… They’re now being told they can’t have those polices anymore. They must have policies that involve coverage for things…

peaceI had a friend that was going through some things, so I did what I do best, sent him a card. And within the card it read “To be at peace with oneself doesn’t mean that you need to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.”

Everything has a purpose in life and when the purpose has been served, the thing will go away. It may leave abruptly and without any explanation what-so-ever! It may also crash or just fall apart. The point is, there is a time limit for all things in your life and when a thing has served its purpose in your life, it usually leaves without any excuses, explanation or reasons why it is leaving.
