Painting by Zhaoming Wu
Morning:
I wake up,
I have a lonesome breakfast,
I wake up Sarit.
I run to the office, crying.
At noon,
I run back home, smiling.
To have a meal with Sarit
I run again to the office, crying
Evening:
I run to home, smiling
I have a walk with Sarit
I play with her
She goes to sleep
Again a walk
It’s time to sleep…
All those moments
far from her
Are stolen instants,
That I can never give back,
I feel guilty…
Will I see my daughter
Grow up?
