I have seen them perform live twice. They are exciting and they just blow you away. The musicians are awesome and the light show is very impressive. Trans-Siberian Orchestra is definetly a show I would recommend for you see it if you get the opportunity. I hope you enjoy this video of them.

I’ve developed the habit of listening to BBC World News in the car rather than my usually country music and last week I heard a story that I just haven’t been able to shake. Mindy Budgor’s story has been following me around and making me feel like I really need to get out and starting making waves. Mindy, a California native, recently spent some time in Kenya earning her position as the first honorary Maasai female warrior. She spent several months eating only what she could kill, drinking blood and facing life-threatening situations, but she came out the other side stronger, happier and more at peace with her life.

When you run into days that are here hard this is something you can do to get yourself back into balance. Time spent in the inner landscape is calming ans centering. This is 7-year-old Jackson. He wanted to be a KKK member for Halloween, so his mother obligingly made him a costume.
Jessica Black, Jackson’s mother, says her brother had the same costume when he was in kindergarten and again when he was 13.
So it’s tradition. Just like the status quo and institutional racism.
