I adore music almost as much as I adore writing. Maybe because some lyrics could
easily be a poem? Or because some songs can lift me up and make me feel strong
again? I don’t know, but the fact is that music can sometimes describe my
feelings better than I can do so myself.

So, I combine them into something I call ‘Poetrics’.

Poetrics is a combination of lyrics from some of my favorite songs and poetry I write inspired by these songs.

I take the essence of the song, the meaning it has, and write a poem on that. Then I let the lyrics of the song dance through the poem.
