Mean Girls #1

Based on my own experience of being the victim of cyber stalking, I’m going to share the stories of women who have been harmed online by female predators. This is the first of a series of posts dedicated to bringing awareness to the problem.

It’s difficult for me to imagine women victimizing other women. I’ve always had the opinion that women should be treated with dignity and respect. If that’s not possible it’s better to just walk away and not cause any harm.

Women are often subjected to harsh criticism at home, in the workplace and in social situations. The internet has now become a stalker’s paradise. Female predators are using websites, email, chat rooms and public blogs and forums to stalk and bully their victims.

Meet My Stalkers…

I have six cyber stalkers at the present time….all six are female predators.

I’ve been blogging with a group of men…

Paul Ryan’s Own Janesville Neighbors Voted Against Him

See Link Above – Paul Ryan’s Wisconsin neighbors supported his opponents

I neglected to post this a couple of weeks back. Again, Obama benefited from a very diversified and well-informed voting coalition that happened to include a wide block of white voters as well. Republican sore losers have continued to try to divide the country, implying Obama’s message of government-private sector collaborative balance only appealed to so-called “urban” voters. However, this contention is debunked by Paul Ryan’s own hometown. As the attached article explains,  Janesville, Wisconsin voted overwhelmingly against their hometown boy, Mr. Ryan, and his message of extreme corporate capitalism.

In the closing days of his vice-presidential run, Paul D. Ryan sought to connect with voters in small- and medium-sized towns across Ohio by repeatedly telling them how much their community had in common with his own hometown of Janesville, Wis.

Now, post-election, the Wisconsin congressman is blaming his Republican ticket loss with presidential contender Mitt Romney on…

Poems

Briefly It Enters, and Briefly Speaks

by Jane Kenyon

I am the blossom pressed in a book

and found again after 200 years

I am the maker, the lover, and the keeper

When the young girl who starves

sits down to a table

she will sit beside me

I am food on the prisoner’s plate

I am water rushing to the wellhead,

filling the pitcher until it spills

I am the patient gardener

of the dry and weedy garden

I am the stone step,

the latch, and the working hinge

I am the heart contracted by joy

the longest hair, white

before the rest

I am the basket of fans

presented to the widow

I am the musk rose opening

unattended, the fern on the boggy summit

I am the one whose love

overcomes you, already with you

when you think to call my name.

Welcome Morning

Anne Sexton

There is joy

in all

in the hair I brush each morning,

in the Cannon towel, newly washed,

that I rub my body with each morning,

in the chapel of eggs I cook

each morning,

in the outcry from the kettle

that heats my coffee

each morning,

in the spoon and the chair

that cry “hello there, Anne”

each morning,

in the godhead of the table

that I set my silver, plate, cup upon

each morning.

All this is God,

right here in my pea-green house

each morning

and I mean,

though often forget,

to give thanks,

to faint down by the kitchen table

in a prayer of rejoicing

as the holy birds at the kitchen window

peck into their marriage of seeds.

So while I think of it,

let me paint a thank-you on my palm

for this God, this laughter of the morning,

lest it go unspoken.

The Joy that isn’t shared, I’ve heard,

dies young.

Hello to all my friends and readers. The words of the feminists poets were in my mind so I shared them with you today. I hope everyone is well. We are having our first hurricane, Hurricane Arthur. I would like to ask that if you don’t mind. please send white light and prayers for my daughter who is just leaving her beach place and driving north to home. They live close to where the storm will come inland. Thank you all.  They were closing up and readying the beach house for the storm. This hurricane is coming with much less warning than people usually have to prepare. Thanks everyone. And may all of you be safe over this celebration of our country’s birth. Happy 4th of July!!

“Soon the ring will close. Things are piling up ever more, rising like a rampart which will soon collapse and crash down upon mankind, who go on living unsuspectingly in spiritual apathy. Finally, at the time of fulfillment, they will naturally no longer have the free choice!
They must now just reap what they sowed at that time, and also later on their wrong ways.

Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark, That’s Where The Stars Are

Phenomenal post. Kindness and gratitude by all of us will change the world. Congratulations on a heart stirring blog. Hugs, Barbara

Alastair's avatarA Mixed Bag

When we are in a bad place, it is dark. We look around us and all we see is blackness. No light, we can’t see our hand behind our backs, we can’t see where we step, it is so dark that all we want to do is sit and cry. After all, who can see us in the dark? We are split away from everyone and everything. There is nothing we can do.

How about looking up? See there? In the dark? The stars. look at them. Each one will help light our way. Each one is a friend. All you need to do is ask them to help guide you from the darkness. They won’t be able to turn the light on for you, but they can help. What about your friends who are the “moon”? They are the ones that show you where the switch is. They are…

Calipatria riots need to cease and unity needz to spread

The hope you right about here and the work you do to help people understand that they are just hurting themselves with racism. I am overwhelmed with how much you give to others and that you hold up a light to some our population who need it the most. I am proud to call you friend. Hugs, Barbara
