I haven’t written in a while. Eight months to be exact. It seems that time got away from me and the longer I was away, the easier it was to forget Megan’s Law Journal.

But I’m back, and I’m ready to take on another issue in this blog–the issue of modern journalism.

There is a saying that some attribute to Albert Einstein. “Be a voice, not an echo.” I am writing this because I am not an echo. I am not part of a world that shares the same voice. Not anymore.

A year ago, I started working as an associate producer at NBC News in Burbank, C.A. I was 22 years old, fresh out of college and making a hefty hourly wage at a national news network. I saw stars.
