Sur les chemins, les sentiers piétinés,
Marchent au loin des gens étranges
Leur âme est si froide, elle est gelée entièrement
Elle était palpitante, volontaire mais elle s’est épuisée

Peace is always possible

Peace is always possible

“Help  me to serve, Thy Cause,

O Spirit of Guidance, throw Thy divine light on my path.

Open my heart, that Thy spirit it may reflect.

My life is changing and taking a better turn.

My mind is still, my thought steady, my sight is keen, my life is balanced.

Harmonize my soul, Lord, with all people and with all conditions.

My body is healed, my mind fortified,

and my soul is illuminated by the grace of God.

Fortify my heart.

Give me a new life and new inspiration,

that I may see in life Thy divine inspiration.

Make my heart Thy Divine temple.”

—Hazrat Inayat Khan

If we would be willing to do this we would save the life of our planet

If we would be willing to do this we would save the life of our planet

Last year, a very dear friend traveled to Turkey. She brought me home a book of Words of Wisdom from Mawlana. I thought I would share some of them with you today.

“The cloud’s shadow falls on the earth: the shadow never consorts with the moon.

“The Divine Love is the Sun of perfection: the Divine Word is its light, the creatures are as shadows.”

“All the wise have said this same thing: the wise man is a Divine mercy to created beings.”

” How shall a berry without kernel become a sapling? The soulless form is naught but phantasy.”

” There are no limits to your being.

Only those you ascribe to yourself.

There are no limits to your understanding,

Only those that are due to trying  to understand with the mind.

There is no limit to your light.

Except the dark shadows of the ego cast upon the sky which we call the self.

Shake your soul! Awaken it from slumber!

The time has come to awaken to your divine being.”

Flash Movie Review: In Secret

moviejoltz's avatarmoviejoltz

There are a multitude of actions and reactions that can be attributed to love. The warmth that rises up to the surface of your skin when your significant other engulfs your hand with their hand is due to love. Saddened as you look at the remnants of your love’s face outlined on their pillow while they are away on a business trip, slows your heart rate for the duration of their time away. I remember spending weeks driving around the city and suburbs, taking photographs of places we had been to that were associated with happy moments, to create a memory photo album for their birthday. Yep, due to the love I had for them. Love can overrule the mind’s practical side and make us do some things that can be embarrassing, odd or even scary. For me, I cringe when I think about the time I went to meet…

Speaking of non-communication

I haven’t had the problem. Talk to WP support. I hope they are able to assist you. I have used them with success. Hugs, Barbara

I have been trying, without success, to comment on several posts. I type it in, click “enter,” and “publish.”  Both register as done.  Then, when I look for my comment, there is nothing but a blank space. It’s frustrating because I want to let people know my reactions to their wonderful work. Is anyone else having this problem?  Have you ever had this problem in the past, and how do I fix it?  Help!

Back in the U.K. – Some clown

It sounds like a fun time.

Going to or coming from a party or just getting ready to do his street act, who knew?  After we arrived and dropped our stuff off at the hotel we took off – or should I say I dragged DH off – to find the double decker tour bus.  My logic was to ride this bus to get a good overview of the area we were in, decide what was good to see or not, and then make note of what to go back to later.  It was a nice, albeit chilly way (the top of that bus was breezy and I was cold!) to take a tour;  off and on privileges for 24 hours, a nice deal I say.

It was during our ride that I took my first photos in London and one of them just happened to be this clown.  Wasn’t expecting to see this at all! …
