Warm embrace… A poem

Iamforchange's Blog

A hug is a gift

Warm and cozy

A hug is a gift

Makes me feel rosy

A hug is a gift

That costs nothing

A hug is a gift

It is something

A hug is a gift

I can give

A hug is a gift

Makes it nice to live

A hug is a gift

From your mother

A hug is a gift

With your lover or brother

A hug is a gift

Shared with another

A hug is a gift

We all need

A hug is a gift

I sure could use

A hug is a gift

I share with you

I wanted to express a thought or two, as I reflected on the last two days my life it seems is so beautiful in so many ways.

G. T. Reynolds, I am going to go out on a limb and say many of the people…

Stark Reality

Well done

scottishmomus

cushioned oblivion

eyes closed to the weeping

hearing drowned in all dreams

reality altered

around us while sleeping

nothing quite as it seems

soothed by the angels

feted in slumber

purified innocent eyes

awaken to terrors, a

heaven more humbler

sleep the purveyor of lies

casting its light

in shadows of darkness

illusory nature of sleep

vile veracity

illumined day’s starkness

now hear those who must weep

My parents are okay

I couldn’t find you, my dearest dad and mom… but I believe you must be fine, with the mindfully prayers in this holy ground, morning and dust.

LCG 04

With a blossom flowers that humming in the corner of the night.

LCG 02

And the morning sun,  landed on this fairy tale.

LCG 10

And also, receiving happiness from Maitreya Buddha.

LCG 07

Offering pure flower to him…

LCG 08

Many more…

LCG 03

And more…

LCG 06

And of course, with a stress free environment and a professional guard man, so I believe my dearest dad and mom, you must be okay!

This is what you shall do

Teacher as Transformer

This is not a poem, but Walt Whitman used poetic language and deep meditative thought it qualifies. He used  language in ways that are politically incorrect today, but provided considerable insight into what it might mean to be a servant-leader and live in the world that way.

I become part of the world and it is embodied in me in such remarkable ways as I learn from the world. I think that is the counsel that this passage provides for me and asks of me.

“This is what you shall do: love the earth and the sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to everyone that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning god, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown or to any man or number…

Lets smile :)

Lively poem.

Jyoti Vishwakarma’s

image

Blooming hearts;
With the peace in mind,
Warmth of relief;
As the strong wind dried.
Freshness in each;
Breaths intake,
Freely, happily flying;
No compromises to make.
Smiling with the life,
Smiling with the strives.
Heart is rejoice,
With the present it decided.
Smiling is all that heals,
At the shore, each emotions are resided….

” KEEP SMILING…..,
it is the only thing,
Which will either warm your heart and soul or piss off others mood and life…
Both the ways; you’re the winner…..”

My new BFF free digital photo editing program

Russel Ray Photos

Opinion

Pictures copyright 2012 Russel Ray Photos

Before I actually buy software, I like to search around to see if there is anything free that will let me do the things I want to do. Usually there is, but free stuff often comes with other problems.

For example, before I bought Photoshop, Lightroom, Photo-Paint, and PaintShop Pro, I searched for free software that would let me edit my digital photos. I found programs like Picmonkey, Picasa, Gimp, and several others that aren’t even worth mentioning because they were so bad that I don’t even remember them!

My dislike of free programs often has something to do with the free program not having all the functions of the paid program. The free program is just a teaser to, hopefully, get you addicted enough that you will want to buy the paid program. In the early days of computing, we called such programs crippleware.

Another problem is that…
