Not only is St Patrick’s the most important day in the Irish calendar but it has gone viral making it one of the most popular events all around the world.
And as the day starts to draw to a close, I am chopping potatoes and cutting up local bacon in my kitchen looking out onto the Mediterranean Sea, a clear day today, blistering sun, a lot of heat just as I like it. I cannot let this eventful week pass by without trying Mick Higgins’ speciality as I think that his name will now be synonomous with Dublin Coddle after his recipe appeared in the Press in two languages this week !
