The Return of the Modern Philosopher
After two chaotic and violent episodes of Maine’s favorite porch based talk show, I informed the interns that I would book the guests for tonight’s show.
As you know, the premise of “Three Chairs on a Porch” is that two guests with a vague connection, join me on the porch for a chat. They each get to ask the other one question. I sit there and listen to the conversation that grows out of those questions.
For tonight’s edition, I asked two men who were no strangers to violence, but who also knew how to conduct themselves and act as gentlemen. Joining me on the porch of The House on the Hill today are: Zeus, the Father of the Gods, and Michael Corleone, the Godfather of the Corleone Family.
