After two chaotic and violent episodes of Maine’s favorite porch based talk show, I informed the interns that I would book the guests for tonight’s show.

As you know, the premise of “Three Chairs on a Porch” is that two guests with a vague connection, join me on the porch for a chat.  They each get to ask the other one question.  I sit there and listen to the conversation that grows out of those questions.

New Air Force Cargo Planes Fly Straight Into Mothballs

” The Pentagon is sending $50 million cargo planes straight from the assembly line to mothballs because it has no use for them, yet it still hasn’t stopped ordering the aircraft, according to a report.

  A dozen nearly new Italian-built C-27J Spartans have been shipped to an Air Force facility in Arizona dubbed “the boneyard,” and five more currently under construction are likely headed for the same fate, according to an investigation by the Dayton Daily News. The Air Force has spent $567 million on 21 of the planes since 2007, according to purchasing officials at Dayton’s Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Of those, 16 have been delivered – with almost all sent directly to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, where some 4,400 aircraft and 13 aerospace vehicles, with a total value of more than $35 billion, sit unused. ”

You know how there is always debate going on about whether certain big names in the “truth movement” are shills, or even CIA COINTELPRO agents? Well here is a reliable way to tell. And a lot of you are probably not going to like it.

I think there are two keys to it.

The first key is in their general focus. A lot of times they will major in minors or sidetrack us into details that are plain wrong, or at least a distraction from the main point. A red flag for me is anyone who obsesses about the intricate details of secret societies, Illuminati, Masons, Jesuits, or whatever. These people argue and nitpick about which secret society is really in control, how they’re structured, who’s in them, blah blah blah. I say who gives a fuck? I once saw an interview with Stevie Ray Vaughn, the great guitarist, where he described how he play’s his guitar. He talked about how he get’s in the zone, opens up the channel and the music comes out and through him. It was the first time I had ever heard anyone publicly express the secret thoughts I have when I write.

Once in the zone, I recall the people and places, I feel the emotion of the recollection and out into the world, these little suitcase words get carried, filled with the feelings, thoughts and memories. All this waiting to get unpacked by the reader; bewildered by how they travel along with me and feel what I felt.
