PRINCETON, NJ — More Americans believe middle-income earners would be better off in four years if President Barack Obama is re-elected than if Mitt Romney wins, by 53% to 43%. The public also says lower-income Americans would be better off under an Obama presidency, while, by an even larger margin, they say upper-income Americans would do better under Romney.

  1. Both parties have been bad for middle income earners for years. Uncontrolled illegal immigration, forced health care insurance (it is a tax), and nobody willing to place a 25% tariff on Chinese imports. Forget about right/left,class warfare problem. It is an American citizen problem.

    • Clinton left office with a balanced budget and a surplus. Bush came in and used the surplus and put us billions in debt. To further worsen the situation, he removed regulations on Wall Street. The wealthy and greedy people caused the crash right before Obama was elected. He took over and to clean up after Bush and Wall Street. The middle class are not “lesser’ in this country. I do appreciate your perspective but I just can’t agree.

      • That is what makes this country great, folks don’t have to agree on issues but they can still be friends and drink beer! I was no fan of Clinton, or Bush..sr and jr. And I have huge issues with Obama. All of these guys have very close ties to Goldman/Sachs, and the crooks on Wall St.
Thank you for visiting my blog! You are always welcome there…..just bring cold beer if you can:)
