It was a bad winter and very cold. When I went to North Carolina to visit my best friend, there were no weeds in my yard. When I returned home it was still cold. My sister usually weeds our garden, and the landscapers take care of the edging and mulching. But when I got home we were looking at her shoulder surgery and there was no time for her to weed first. The surgery was more extensive than anticipated, and the recovery is taking longer than planned, so there was still no weeding done. Today, I decided to do some of the weeding myself, despite my back and the cane I need. And while I was at it, I took my camera out. I think I did more photography than weeding. There is some done and more to be done. My motto is: A little at a time. So here are my pictures of the flowers that are blooming on this sunny, warm Sunday on the Lake.
