The march was a life changing experience for me.

    • I have a long history of activism and I was energized at the march. After the election and not saying much until I had worked everything out within my own. My sense of outrage and disgust just grew over time and the march gave me a start for all of the conflicting emotions. I took photographs and I have documented the day. Hugs, Barbara

Very much the same experience. Im going to save the pics and videos for the tough times ahead. But, I feel really hopeful that this is a solid movement and not just a moment. All of us will have to work to keep the momentum for the next 4 years.

  2. Rajagopal says:

People, comprising mostly women and the liberalists, have apparently served adequate notice that DJT will not have an open field to pursue his extreme right-wing conservative agenda. The essence of democracy is dialogue, dissent and decision, and as long as the centrist forces in America are there to provide the appropriate check and balance, there is nothing to worry. The next four years may also severe as an eye-opener to the liberals and neo-liberals in that they get to clearly realise the need to address the concerns of people at the bottom of the pyramid and chastening politics from the overriding influence of big money. By this time the current incumbent would have done enough to justify his ouster at or before the end of his tenure. Season’s greetings to you Barbara.
