” No one knows what makes the soul wake
up so happy! Maybe a dawn breeze has
blown the veil from the face of God.
A thousand new moons appear. Roses
open laughting. Hearts become perfect
rubies like those from Badakshan. The
body turns entirely spirit. Leaves
become branches in this wind. Why is
it now so easy to surrender, even for
those already surrendered? There’s no
answer to any of this. No one knows the source of joy. A poet breathes
into a reed flute, and the tip of every hair makes music. Shams sails
clown clods of dirt from the roof, and we take jobs as doorkeepers for him.

My One Desire

Oh I love this. And I also love the purple eye on your blog. It’s so lovely. No one does know what makes a soul wake up happy. That is me, I am always happy when I wake up. I start my day with positive thoughts and building myself up with lovely sunrises and I journal. I love the post!
Thank you for your kind comment. Hugs, Barbara
Hugs back to you Miss Barbara!
I am a night person. But I understand what you are saying. Blessings, Barbara
Have a super weekend Barbara! 🙂

The being awakens to the new day as to a new life – – fresh and filled with the joy of the Creator for He is in us and we are in Him and together we are one and we taste the sweet savor of all that is together because all that is is Him and Me in our own little secret place – – and everyone has one if only they know how to unlock the door and get there. Thanks for all this beauty on your blog here. It is enough to make a soul soar – – to take flight – – to walk on a star – – to drink from the fountain of a rainbow. Thank you for the refreshing taste of newness of life made manifest through the art of your writing.
Thank you for the kind words. There is Divinity within and we are never alone. Divinity is all around us. You can feel the love if you keep your heart open. Hugs, Barbara
