It was 54 degrees today and tomorrow it will be 60 degrees. I am so excited. You can almost feel Ole Man Winter losing his grip on the Earth and on our souls. We are tired of the cold and the gray days. We are tired of the ache in our bones. So we look, we look for every sign that spring in nearing. The geese have returned and I heard birds singing today. I though I would show you some photos of the beginning of Winter losing its grip.

Since Vermillion sits on Lake Erie, there are many streets but some people have waterways which freeze in winter.

This looks like a very beautiful place to live Ms. Barbara.
What a lovely place you live at. Lovely to see the ground appearing and ice melting. Here too, we are spotting signs of life!
Each is so important to our psyche.
yes, and I’m learning to flow with the seasons more and more.
What a wonderful place. I am sure you are very sensitive to the changing seasons. Lovely photos. Enjoy spring as it arrives!
A nice sight you share there.
How great to see spring start to make its way in.
Be gone winter!
Quickly be gone!
Winter hit back in UK yesterday. I hope to see the end of it soon.
When do you usually see the signs of spring?
February, the pendulum has been going backwards and forwards for over a month now.
What a beautiful place and wonderful pictures. You’re far more tolerant of the winter than I could ever be. We are already seeing 70 some days, blooms on our trees; despite some rain and cold still in the future.
I am green with envy
