The drought continues. The heat continues. I am thinking we should maybe pave over our lawn, or turn our front yard into a callaloo bed, or just a flower bed. Anything is better than the patch of bare earth and dying yellow grass that currently calls itself a lawn. Well, @JamaicaWeather shared a little map of the Saharan dust. Here it is – not really evident in the Caribbean now, but there is still a thick haze over the city.

It got me thinking!!  Big smiles- always dangerous as my thoughts flit around my often empty caged mind to jingle the keys to inner questioning of ourselves, and our actions.

So as my thoughts take on another muse it got me thinking how easily we judge a book by its cover. Or a group of people by the label given. A Sect by their beliefs. And just how quick we all are to give labels and judge.

I wonder  how many of us dig beneath the surface and uncover the reality of…

Holidays are crazy at my house and it can be exhausting.  There’s so much cooking, cleaning, shopping, wrapping and decorating to do. I’m posting this as a reminder for me as much as for you.
