Trees, tree, and trees. I love them and here are some good words about them.

Majestic Tree ~ 100words

Majestic and beautiful she stands,
she aged, but
survived winter’s abuse.
with twisted limbs
she points to the sun, sustenance.

Majestic and beautiful she stands.
bending with the fierce winds
and swaying in gentle breezes.
Drunk from the ambrosia of spring rains
she labors with birth.

Majestic and beautiful she stands,
in summer greens, glistening with dew.
A canopy of cool air,
where young lovers met and branded…

The way people take a second to be nice, to answer a question and not make things a competition amazes me here. I know I have been given many awards, but I wanted to leave my own legacy on here by creating my own award, as many have done before. She Walks in Beauty

She walks in beauty, like the
night
Of cloudless
climes and starry
skies;
And all that’s best
of dark and bright
Meet in her
aspect and her
eyes:
Thus mellow’d to
that tender light
Which heaven
to gaudy day

every raven trees,

When ill or injured, I find poetry to be a soothing balm. I will be in the new walking boot for two more weeks and then I will begin PT. It could have been much worse. It could have caused more pain but I was blessed. This poem is one of my favorite ones and it was also Jacqueline Kennedy’s favorite poem. I like to read it when life challenges me. So I wanted to share it with all of you. Thank you for all of your kind wishes. I know I will have a speedy recovery. The gift of my heart is these images I am sharing with you tonight.
