I watched the Pope at the ground zero conducting a beautiful interfaith service. It touched my heart and sincerely was the best interfaith service I have seen in a very long time. The children’s choir sang and it was beautiful and appropriate as we work towards peace.

PEACE … what we yearn for .. worldwide!!
This is very true. Hearts everywhere yearn for peace and all that comes with it. Brotherhood, love, patience, kindness, gentleness, and compassion. Peace to you my dear friend. May you always carry it withing your heart. Hugs, Barbara
Finally a Pope that cares, he rides in a Fiat and lives simply… I’m sure he’ll be targeted.
Well, he is a sign of important change in the Catholic Church. He needs to deal more with the sex abuse scandals. But he is human and as he travels the world, hopefully, he will see everything that needs to be changed. Hugs, Barbara
I thought I’d share this video from the Ground Zero Memorial. Thanks for your beautiful posts! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fH2FekyDKdw
Thank you so much. I did see it live and it reminded me of protesting during the Vietnam War. We will eventually find peace for everyone. Hugs, Barbara
I was also very moved by the service and calls for peace from so many different traditions. I wrote about it here: https://topofjcsmind.wordpress.com/2015/09/25/francis-at-ground-zero/
